Last week president Bush asked in his new budget proposal a huge increase for defense spending. This is another sign of the severity of the international predicament but also another hope for a solution. The president's assessments of danger are based on facts and logic and the foreseeable solution, by power. Out of unexplainable reasons, the rest of the Western world (with exception of England and Israel) sit halfheartedly on their hands. If not the United States, the world would face again a similar situation as in WW I and II. But this time the USA does not wait until the world burns, but tries to pre-empt the disaster. When the president named in his speech the imminent countries of danger, he knew exactly what he said and why he said it.

At the moment, after the first successful stage in the war against terrorism, there is a temporarily "time out," which both sides utilize for regrouping. Like boxers at their opening dance, they look for the opponent's soft spots. The difference is that the USA fights an open war against evil, while evil changes its surreptitious position like in a shell game. The obvious question arises when we ask: and where is Mr.Evil himself? Where is Bin Laden?

Reliable rumors, which convey the opinions of many Arabs, are split. Some are convinced, that Bin Laden is actually, the by the Muslim religion predicted Mahdi and that he rose straight from his mountain sanctuary to heaven. More reliable rumors are convinced that he is guest of honor in Iran.

When we compare the similarity in appearance and the sanctimonious expressions of Ayatolah Khoumany and Bin Laden, we will find it easier to recognize their spiritual connection and understand their common aggressive goals. Iran sends a ship full of weapons to the "noble" peace-Nobel prize laureate Yasser Arafat. The Hezbollah received from Iran lately 10,000 rockets with a range of up to 70 kilometers. Iran organizes a special branch of Hezbollah with the aim to attack Israel from Jordanian borders. Iran's past president threatened Israel with the most dreadful consequences if Israel should attack Iran's nuclear production the same, as it did to Iraq.

Why does Iran need nuclear weapons? They must be aware, that by nuking Israel, a similar number of Palestinians would be hurt. But they would not care if this should happen. These Palestinians would be martyred for a holy and good cause. The same satanic plan was adopted by the inventors of the Intifada. To accomplish their goals they needed blood. Not so much the Jewish, but their own Arab blood. The children who were programmed for martyrdom were used as a tool for gaining sympathy. Then they expected slyly, a massive reaction by Israeli forces by killing thousands of Palestinians, which would outrage the world and support the planned, all-out war, by combined forces of all Arab States. This was the real goal of the Intifada. It was not only the moral Jewish values who did not supply the Arabs with the expected pretext to attack but also Sharon's wisdom.

The Palestininas should by now have recognized that their own leadership has misinformed, misled and misused them. From the day of Israel's independence on May 14th 1948, when Ben Gurion stretched out his hands for peace, until today 19,221 days have passed. On each of these 19,221 days, peace could have been easily achieved by accepting the Jewish historic rights, the United Nation's calling and Ben Gurion's offer. It is time for the Palestinians to come to know the truth and to get rid of terror and its incompetent and fanatic leaders.

It would not take a great effort. We just have to listen to God's laws and peace will come. Peace - shalom over Israel and over the whole world.
